Our mission is to ”Make your sweet dreams come true” with a beautifully delicious confection that represents your fiancé and yourself through textures, colours, florals, toppers or accessories.
Where do we start?
We recommend starting with a preliminary email anywhere from 4-6 months prior to the wedding date to confirm availability. Be sure to include info such as Wedding date, venue location, approximate guest count and inspirational photos of cake examples, colour swatches and/or florals. From there we would love to meet you and set up an in house consultation.
Consultation
Meet with owner and senior cake designer where we`ll guide you through the process of designing your dream wedding cake! You will be presented with 3 individual 4“cake samples. Our samples are take-home, because with over a dozen flavours to choose from, it gets hard to narrow it down. This is why our samples are generous enough to share with family and or friends. Take your time with it, make a night of it, and have fun!
Cake Stand Rentals
Give your cake that extra wow factor with the added height of one of our beautiful cake stands. Stand rentals are $50 with $100 credit card deposit. Cake stands must be returned to Cakes Sweets & Treats within 72 hours of wedding date for a full deposit refund.
Payments
When you`re ready to confirm your cake a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your order. Payments can be made in store, over the phone with Visa or MC or via e-transfer. Balance is to be paid no later than 1 week prior to the wedding date.
Delivery
We personally deliver and set-up all wedding cakes. We aim to deliver as close as possible to the reception start time. This can be anywhere from 1-2 hours prior. Delivery fees are calculated based on km travelled. We deliver anywhere from Stoney Creek to Mississauga. Please inquire for availability.
